GREAT NEWS!  We are happy to report that we have issued more than 1,000 AdvoCAT Spay & Neuter vouchers!  In 2008, the Capital Area Humane Society received a $50,000 grant  from Franklin County to provide access to subsidized spay/neuter services for cats.  Residents can apply to receive one voucher per household for a free spay/neuter surgery and rabies vaccination at participating veterinary clinics.  We are still accepting applications for the program and will fulfill requests as expired vouchers are able to be re-issued.  Click here for an application.  Click here for more information about spay/neuter programs.

The Capital Area Humane Society, a non-profit animal welfare organization founded in 1883, provides programs and services for animals and people in Central Ohio.  It is our mission to fight animal cruelty, help animals in need and advocate for their well-being.  More than 95 percent of our funding is provided by donations and fees for services, we are not a government agency and we do not receive operating support from national organizations.
