“My favorite thing about working at Northwest Animal Hospital is the staff. Everyone here is really great. I became a Veterinary Assistant to gain more knowledge about caring for animals. I have always had pets of my own and always will. I started my own small business in pet sitting also. Not only do I love to spend time with my own pets, but others as well when the owners can’t be there.

“I believe that everyone should always have a pet in their life. I think it makes us better people.”

Heather started work at Northwest in December 2005. She has four pets --- Doja, a 5 year-old Pitbull/Bulldog mix, Bella, a two year-old blue American Pit Bull Terrier, and year-old sister cats Chloe, the calico, and Steve, a black and white bicolor.

Her schooling for veterinary assistant was completed at Pima Medical Institute in Colorado Springs, CO.
