Katie is the most recent registered veterinary technician to be on staff, but she has years of experience at NWAH prior to that professional role. She began as a receptionist and cashier, then took on the responsibilities of a veterinary assistant. So, you may have met Katie in any number of areas of the hospital.

Katie graduated from the two-year Veterinary Technician program at Columbus State Community College in 2008. Now her responsibilities include anesthesia, surgical assistant, dental cleanings, nursing care of hospitalized patients, and extensive outpatient duties. We are delighted that Katie stayed with us at the completion of her degree.
