Rachel Hollenbach
Rachel Hollenbach is the proud owner of Northwest Animal Hospital, which she purchased in 2019. Since taking the helm, she has been committed to providing exceptional, compassionate care to pets and their families in the community. She graduated from Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016, and then completed a private practice internship in Cincinnati and Springfield, Ohio. Dr. Hollenbach also completed her undergraduate studies at Wright State University, where she grew her passion for animals and science.
As a Fear Free Elite Certified Professional, Dr. Hollenbach is dedicated to ensuring every pet receives care in a calm, stress-free environment. She believes in building strong relationships with her clients and their pets, offering personalized care that focuses on preventative medicine, behavioral counseling, internal medicine, and dentistry. Her goal is to help pets live long, healthy, and happy lives.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hollenbach is a proud wife to her husband, Jason, an Army veteran and deputy sheriff, and a loving mother to their two children, Julia and Jonah. She enjoys reading, traveling, and indulging her passion for food—whether it’s trying new restaurants or exploring new wine pairings. At home, she shares her life with two Tibetan Spaniels, Quincy and Wilson, as well as three cats: Shamus, Gabi, and Penny.

Brett
Brett joined Northwest in March of 2025. His ability to connect with our clients and their pets come naturally. He is a devoted dog dad to two chihuahuas, Dax and Mylo. Brett loves to explore new cultures and landscapes, and finds peace spending time in nature through hiking. His enthusiasm for adventure, animals, and nature fosters a deep connection with the world around him.
Jeffrey
Jeffrey joined our team in 2023 as a Customer Service Representative and is currently cross training as a Veterinary Assistant. Throughout his life Jeffrey has felt a strong, empathetic bond towards animals of all kinds and has special interests in animal behavior. He is passionate about our Fear Free mission and promoting positive vet visits. Currently an undergraduate at the Ohio State University, he hopes to pursue higher education and someday become a veterinarian himself. His loyal cat Garfield and dog MayZ never leave his side, and in his spare time he enjoys listening to indie rock and playing board games.
Devon
Devon joined us in February 2021 as a veterinary assistant. Spending summers at his grandmother’s and taking care of horses instilled a lifelong passion for animals. He spent a few years studying Veterinary Science and Equine Health Management at Otterbein University in pursuit of his goal to spend his life in the animal field. Devon wants you to know: “I’m committed to helping make sure the people and fuzzy friends who visit us leave happy, healthy and worry free."
In his spare time he enjoys snuggling his cats, recording or listening to podcasts and riding his horse.

Ashleigh Stagg
Meaghan is a Registered Veterinary Technician who has been working in veterinary medicine for 8 years and counting. Her favorite things about her job are creating bonds with her patients and their owners and taking care of every pet as if they were her own. Outside of work, she enjoys going to Columbus Blue Jackets games, watching anything related to Star Wars or Harry Potter, and spending time with family and friends.
